Taya, Etc., collects customer information to enhance its ability to service its customers. The company is committed to maintaining and using this information responsibly. This privacy policy addresses the use and disclosure of personal information collected from www.taya-etc.com users or those providing their information directly to the company by another means. When a customer provides such information, they are accepting the practices described in this policy. Any questions regarding the privacy policy should be directed to Taya, Etc, customer service. Any personal information provided to Taya, Etc., is maintained on secure servers. The site collects information when a user registers online, updates an account, logs in, places and order, opts to receive emails, shops online, requests information, or participates in a sweepstakes, contest, promotion or survey. This information may include, but is not limited to, contact and credit card information and any product preferences or demographic information provided through the site.

When placing an order on the Taya, Etc., Web site the information is used to process and track an order and contact customers regarding questions or concerns on their order. If a customer provides an email address during checkout, they also will receive order confirmation and shipping status emails.

When setting up an online account on the Taya, Etc., Web site, a customer will be prompted to select a password. The retrieval of personal information relating to that customer’s account and their order history is only available to them if they provide the correct password. 

If a customer forgets their password, they can request that it be emailed to their email address. Taya, Etc., will not give passwords out over the phone or email them to a different address than the one used to register. If a customer requests to have their password emailed to them, their credit card information will be deleted from their profile for their protection.

Should a customer wish to change their contact information in the Taya, Etc., database, they may do so by contacting the Taya, Etc., customer service department.

To optimize customer-service capabilities of the brand, a record of purchases made through any Taya, Etc., retail channel is maintained. This information may be combined with demographic information and information that is publicly available. This information may be used to improve brand focus.

These unaffiliated third parties will have their own privacy policies in place. If customers do not wish to receive emails from third parties, they may opt out by contacting the Taya, Etc., customer service department.

To enhance the customer shopping experience, the Taya Web site may include links to other sites. Those Web sites will have their own privacy policies that users may wish to review. Taya, Etc., has no responsibility for the privacy policies of those linked Web sites.

Taya, Etc., does not knowingly collect any personal information from a child under 13. It does not sell products for purchase by children and all children’s products are sold for purchase by adults only. A visitor under the age of 13 should not provide any personal information, and only a parent or guardian should place an order or provide personal information to the site.

Taya, Etc., collects various types of personal information about customers both online and offline, as described in the above privacy policy. Under California law, customers who are residents of California may request certain information about Taya’s disclosure of personal information during the prior calendar year to third parties for direct marketing purposes.
